Ji-Yoon Han

Ji-Yoon reflects on the life of images, their agency and the relationships of desire they elicit. Her research usually takes the form of exhibitions, texts for artists and critical essays, and sometimes podcasts. She is also a PhD candidate in Art History. Her dissertation studies the simultaneous development, around 1930, of Surrealist photographic practices and of a visual culture based on the massive dissemination of the photographic image.
