Residencies of the Americas

Since 2008, the Conseil des Arts de Montréal has been offering the Residencies of the Americas at the Darling Foundry, a program now fully devoted to Latin American artists and curators, which has achieved great success. This is made manifest by the growing number of artists applying every year, from an increasing number of countries in Latin America, especially those that were out of reach in the beginnings.Every year, the Residencies of the Americas allow to host a artist for three months, and a curator for two months. This program fully takes part in Montreal's strategies to reach out to various communities, and to help claim a cultural identity that is both inclusive and open to the world.Stay in touch with us and be advised when our call for applications is open and who the recipients are, by subscribing to our newsletter.
