Michel Blazy

Michel Blazy's work revolves around the living. The artist documents the putrefaction, proliferation, draining and liquefaction of humble materials through ephemeral sculptures and installations. A certain laissez-faire approach is necessary in the search for an aesthetic language in the metamorphosis of organic matter. The shapes, colors and even smells that emerge from his experimental approach are unpredictable. The use of ordinary materials in a slow, transitory process reflects a critical view of the fast paste of consumer society and the static, sterile architecture that surrounds us. Michel Blazy's works integrate into their environment in an evolving manner, questioning the cohabitation of the artificial and the natural.
