Florine Leoni

Florine Leoni works with different media such as video, sound and site-specific installations. Her work deals with the genesis of out-of-the-ordinary states and situations. She triggers image constellations through videos or through a direct physical intervention in space. Her exploration focuses on different spatial circumstances, their limits, their transgression and cancellation, and their epistemological rules of play.

Biography

Born in 1980 in Switzerland, Florine Leoni currently lives in works in London and Basel. She holds a diploma in Fine Arts and a master of Arts in Contemporary Arts Practice from the Lucerne University of Art and Design in Lucerne, Switzerland. Her work has been exhibited in Canada (Montréal and Ottawa), Taiwan (Taipei) and Switzerland.
