Swana Perl

The moment where everyday life ends, changes, transforms itself into something else – this is the point where Swana Perl finds energy for her work. This is the point where purpose loses its meaning and objects reveal their inherent values. The everyday artefacts, used for the artist’s installations, leave their function-defined identities behind and realize the potential of their forms. Through their juxtaposition, snapshots are created which acknowledge our expectations and then lead us past them.
