Susana Pilar Delahante Matienzo

Cuban artist, Susana Pilar Delahante Matienzo employs photography and performance to observe concealed realities and the mechanisms that mask them. She appears in many of her projects and has worked with themes such as death and violence to which Cuban women are subject.

Biography

She works and lives between Karlsruhe, Germany and in Havana City, Cuba. From 1998 untill 2008 she studies in the Elemental school of visual Art José Antonio Díaz Pelaez, the Fine Arts Academy San Alejandro and the High Institute of Arts (ISA) in Havanna, Cuba.
