Sky Goodden

At the Darling Foundry, Sky Goodden is conducting research and writing towards the completion of a book project titled The Floating Academy: Artist Residencies in Contemporary Art, which she conceived of and began researching in 2011, and which is being co-edited by the Brussels-based curator and writer Lauren Wetmore. The book addresses a paucity of published material on the growing phenomenon of the artist residency, and its significance for the economy of art and its increasingly peripatetic community of practitioners.
