Jean-Luc Verna
Jean-Luc Verna's drawings are the memories of his drawings. The trichloethylene that he uses to reproduce them also change them. He then intervenes the copy to make them beautiful and unique. His method hides a natural drawing to give place to a drawing that already existed but that had never before been discovered.
Biography
Jean-Luc Verna has had recent exhibitions in Paris (Air de Paris), New-York (Team Gallery) and in Murcia, Spain (La Conservera, Salas Veronicas). He has participated in numerous collective exhibitions (Centre Pompidou, Villa Arson, Musée d'Art Moderne de la ville de Paris, MAC/VAL…). He is also a dancer for the choreographers Gisèle Vienne and Mickaël Phelippeau and singer in the group I Apologize.
