Ælab

Biography

Ælab is an artistic research unit initiated by Gisèle Trudel and Stéphane Claude in 1996. After several years of national and international presentations (New Plymouth, Berlin, Karlsruhe, Madrid, Rotterdam, Budapest, Paris, Beijing, Toronto, Winnipeg, Los Angeles, São Paulo, Riga), they are showing this work for the first time in their hometown of Montréal. Stéphane Claude is a musician, mastering sound engineer and audio coordinator at Oboro. Gisèle Trudel is a media artist and professor at l'École des arts visuels et médiatiques de l'UQAM, research member of Grupmuv and HexagramUQAM.
