Beyond its mission to support and promote contemporary art, the Darling Foundry is socially involved in his neighborhood. Established for over twenty years at the crossroads of Old Montreal and Griffintown, the heritage of the former industrial area of its location is particularly close to its heart. The project to save a section of the Bonaventure Expressway and turn it into a Montreal High Line fits perfectly with this vision.
