CONVERSATION: ARIA MAILLOT, LAURIE HAUFF & PIERRE DURETTE

Join artists-in-residence Aria Maillot, Laurie Hauff, and Pierre Durette to discover their latest research in their studios.

The event, free of charge and accessible by staircase, will take place on the 3rd floor.

ARIA MAILLOT

Aria Maillot mixes painting and installation, using the transformation of organic matter to create works charged with personal histories. Her work, influenced by her past as a cook, questions food, its metamorphoses, and its link with the human condition and our relationship with the living.

LAURIE HAUFF

Laurie Hauff's practice questions the body and its envelopes, exploring the porosity between the arts and the energies that circulate within them. Using bondage, she examines ties and attachment, playing with the transformation of forms and balance, while photography serves as a preparatory medium for her sculptures and performative installations.

PIERRE DURETTE

Pierre Durette creates works that blend fictional and real events to explore themes of deviance, ambivalence and anxiety. By decontextualizing and fragmenting these subjects, he generates unexpected meaning by disrupting the linearity of history.
