In collaboration with Corpuscule Danse and co-presented by Danse-Cité, we welcome Dépaysement: les eaux intimes, a sensitive interweaving of visual art and dance, in which artists, through various performative interventions, will continually transform the space in motion.
At the show's heart, five creative performers, led by choreographer Georges-Nicolas Tremblay, inhabit, deconstruct, dialogue, transform, and leave traces in the environment created by multidisciplinary artist Marie-Hélène Bellavance. Artist Alexandra Templier composed the soundscape.
The public is invited to embark on their own journey through an environment filled with dreams, memories, and intimate confidences. Visitors can move freely through visual, sound, and performance installations, contributing to the transformation of a multi-sensory artwork focused on resilience and change.
You can enjoy:
4 shows at the heart of the exhibition, where you'll witness dance performances and intersecting stories.
During 12 residential afternoons, you can visit the exhibition at your own pace, contributing to its evolution and interacting with the artists or observing their interactions with the installations.
2 afternoons with sound artist Alexandra Templier, in residence.
Purchasing a ticket for a performance grants unlimited access to both the exhibition and the rooms. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the rooms multiple times throughout the month. Admission to the exhibition is $8, or by donation on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
