Sebastian Fröhlich

Sebastian Fröhlich further develops a project exploring Montréal’s Brutalist architecture from multiple perspectives, highlighting its raw beauty, rigour, and visionary spirit during his residency at Fonderie Darling. 

Biography

Sebastian Fröhlich is a filmmaker and photographer from Austria. With experience in both national and international projects, his career spans film, photography, food photography, and graphic design. After several years working commercially, he chose to dedicate more space to his own ideas and artistic expression—though food remains a recurring theme. Sebastian studied film in Vienna before completing a master’s degree in Digital Design with a focus on photography. Since 2021, he has been presenting his carefully composed works in galleries and exhibitions. His practice reflects a strong sense of visual storytelling, shaped by his background in filmmaking and his passion for photography.
