Luc Paradis

Luc Paradis borrows imagery from the historical avant-garde but translates it into popular, local language. His references to the artistic canon are nonetheless humourous—he prefers to identify with subcultures and dreamworlds. The artist explores a variety of different media, such as painting, drawing, collage, and sculpture, producing an esoteric narration of characters from an invented folklore.
