Research-creation residency

This residency program is intended for curators, artists, and art  critics from Quebec or elsewhere to undertake a research-creation residency in Montreal. Hosted for a period of 12 months in live-in studios of Fonderie Darling, laureates benefit from a professional artistic support and promotion program, which includes the organization of events, studio visits and public programs geared towards various audiences. The context of Fonderie Darling provides a direct integration into the local art scene, as well as a proximity to the artists in residency on site.

Generously sponsored by author, designer and artist Ruby Thelot, this residency supports the artistic development and professional careers of emerging artists, curators and art critics from the ethnocultural diversity of Montreal and its diasporas.
