macSUP Lyon Residency

In order to stimulate exchanges between France and Canada, Fonderie Darling participates in the macSUP Lyon Residency, which gives artists from Lyon the opportunity to benefit from a unique working environment for artistic research and experimentation that favors its integration into the university environment. Developed by macSUP Lyon, in collaboration with Fonderie Darling, this residency is also developed in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - French Institute, the city of Lyon and the Metropolis of Lyon, as well as HEC Montreal.

The artist will be hosted for two months at Fonderie Darling and will have access to a studio and production facilities for working with wood, metal, ceramics and CNC cutting. The artist is required to provide 21 hours of studio time in a university setting as well as a public presentation of his work at Fonderie Darling. Numerous activities, such as public and professional meetings, studio visits and cultural excursions, are organized according to the artist's interests throughout his or her stay
