Conversation: Simon S. Belleau & Peter Szendy

As part of the exhibition Répliques, Fonderie Darling invites author, philosopher and musicologist Peter Szendy to a public exchange with Simon S. Belleau on the subject of their respective works and certain common issues linked to the voice and its echo, enunciation and the reception of discourse in the context of the use of new technologies in artistic production.

Peter Szendy is Professor of Comparative Literature at Brown University and a consultant for the Philharmonie de Paris publishing house. His recent books include La Voix, par ailleurs. Ventriloquism, stuttering and other accidents, with Laura Odello (Éditions de Minuit, 2023); Pouvoirs de la lecture.
