THRESHOLDING

As part of the exhibition Drinkers of Quintessences, Adriana Disman presents Thresholding, a durational performance playing on the physical apprehension of the void and its limits. Throughout several hours, the artist stands on a stool, defying the balance of her own body at the edge of the seat. She thus proposes a living metaphor of the creative process, swaying between an intuitive research and the risk taken by all artists when confronted with the void of writer's block or the public presentation of their works.

The audience is invited to come and go at anytime.
The performance may end some time between 7-8 PM.
