FEMINIST AND INCLUSIVE COMMUNICATION
Aware that language can be both a vehicle for inequality and a source of power, Fonderie Darling wishes to continue the discussions begun during its last workshop on feminist and inclusive communication by adopting writing practices in its future communications that better represent women and the multiplicity of gender identities.
LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We want to acknowledge that Fonderie Darling is located on unceded Indigenous land. We recognize the Kanien'kehá: ka Nation as the custodian of the lands and waters upon which we gather today. Tiohtiá:ke / Montreal is historically known as a gathering place for many First Nations, and today it is home to a diverse population of Indigenous and other peoples. It is with respect for the connections to the past, present and future that we recognize the ongoing relationships between Indigenous Peoples and other people in the Montreal community.
PLEASE NOTE
Although Fonderie Darling cannot accept unsolicited proposals from artists wishing to exhibit, we sincerely appreciate your interest and desire to collaborate with us.
