Fonderie Darling and Corridor Culturel are pleased to team up for the first evening of the Corridor Festival, on Place du Sable-Gris. 

The event celebrates the inauguration of a new semi-permanent work by Laura Acosta on Place du Sable-Gris, curated by Laurie Cotton Pigeon, as well as the pre-launch of the first edition of Festival Corridor

Thanks to the support of ODEA Montreal, the Borough of Ville-Marie and the Société de Développement Commercial Vieux-Montréal, Fonderie Darling is proud to offer a series of festive and artistic evenings, free and accessible to all. We would also like to thank le Seltzer, Zamalek, Mate Libre and Gutsy Kombucha for providing the terrace bar with delicious products. 

 

LAUNCH OF LAURA ACOSTA'S SITE-SPECIFIC INSTALLATION

The evening of September 28 will see the unveiling of artist Laura Acosta's brand-new outdoor work, curated by Laurie Cotton-Pigeon. The public is invited to an activation of this first semi-permanent work on the brand-new Place Publique, in the presence of the artist and curator.

 

FESTIVAL CORRIDOR

The CORRIDOR festival, organized by Corridor Culturel, brings together public art, music and architectural heritage from September 28 to October 8 in Griffintown and along the Lachine Canal. CORRIDOR highlights creativity, local communities and Montreal's unique heritage through the interpretations of today's artists.

More than a dozen events - artistic performances, musical evenings and tours - will be offered, most of them free!
