This hands-on workshop guides participants through the process of building and wiring a kick bin speaker.
The workshop introduces the fundamentals of building, wiring, and assembling a speaker in an accessible and collaborative setting. Throughout the session, participants will learn about the main components of a kick bin, how they work together, and the practical steps required to prepare and wire the speaker.
At the end of the workshop, the group will work together to assemble and complete the final wiring of a fully functional subwoofer.

HONEYDRIP
Honeydrip is a Montreal-based producer, DJ, live artist, and speaker builder. Deeply inspired by Dub, Reggae, and Dancehall, her work is rooted in sound system culture and its power to connect communities through sound. In 2025, she founded MORPH, a sound system collective dedicated to teaching, uplifting, and empowering women and queer people through hands-on workshops, mentorship, and skill-sharing in both the technical and creative sides of sound system building. Through MORPH, Honeydrip works to reclaim technical spaces and expand who gets to shape the future of sound culture.
